Kito Legends Crowned Champions of the Inaugural Fit & Fun Premier League 2026

FIT & FUN PREMIER LEAGUE: KITO LEGENDS CROWNED CHAMPIONS IN HISTORIC FIRST EDITION

Eleven matchdays. Twelve clubs. Hundreds of goals. One unbeaten champion. The inaugural Fit & Fun Premier League delivered a compelling celebration of corporate football, competition and community.

The first edition of the Fit & Fun Premier League 2026 brought together 12 football clubs for an exciting league campaign at Fit & Fun Complex in Kyaliwajjala, running from 11 April to 20 June 2026.

Organised around a single round-robin format, the competition offered participating clubs an opportunity to compete consistently, build team identity and battle for the inaugural championship.

Over 11 matchdays, the league produced impressive attacking performances, unexpected results, competitive rivalries and a fascinating title contest.

When the campaign reached its conclusion, Kito Legends emerged as the undisputed champions, finishing at the top of the standings with 31 points and, remarkably, without losing a single match.

Jordan Select FC mounted the strongest challenge, while New Home Base and Young Monks United also enjoyed impressive campaigns.

The inaugural edition established the Fit & Fun Premier League as an exciting addition to the competitive football calendar.

KITO LEGENDS: UNBEATEN AND UNSTOPPABLE

If there was one team that defined the first edition, it was Kito Legends.

They delivered an outstanding campaign, finishing top of the table with 31 points from 11 matches.

Their record was exceptional:

  • Matches played: 11
  • Wins: 10
  • Draws: 1
  • Losses: 0
  • Goals scored: 70
  • Goals conceded: 29
  • Goal difference: +41
  • Points: 31

Kito Legends combined attacking efficiency with remarkable consistency, becoming the only unbeaten team in the competition.

Their 70 goals made them the league’s highest-scoring side, while their +41 goal difference demonstrated their superiority over much of the field.

Ten victories and just one draw provided the foundation for a deserved championship triumph.

Kito Legends were not simply the best team in the inaugural edition; they set the standard for everyone else.

JORDAN SELECT FC: THE CLOSEST CHALLENGERS

Jordan Select FC finished second with 27 points, establishing themselves as serious contenders throughout the competition.

They recorded eight victories and three draws, remaining unbeaten across their 11 matches.

Their attacking output was equally impressive, with 63 goals scored and only 19 conceded.

In fact, Jordan Select FC finished with the league’s best defensive record, conceding ten fewer goals than champions Kito Legends.

Their goal difference of +44 was also the best in the competition.

Despite these remarkable numbers, three draws ultimately proved costly in the title race, leaving them four points behind the champions.

Jordan Select FC may have missed out on the inaugural title, but their campaign demonstrated that they were more than capable of challenging for future honours.

NEW HOME BASE: A PODIUM FINISH

New Home Base completed the top three with 25 points from 11 matches.

Their eight wins, one draw and two defeats represented an impressive campaign, placing them among the competition’s strongest sides.

They scored 36 goals and conceded 20, finishing with a goal difference of +16.

Their ability to compete consistently against established opponents made them one of the standout teams of the inaugural season.

With a podium finish secured, New Home Base will undoubtedly be looking to build on this performance in subsequent editions.

YOUNG MONKS UNITED: A STRONG FOURTH-PLACE FINISH

Young Monks United finished fourth with 22 points, narrowly missing out on the top three.

They collected seven wins, one draw and three defeats, scoring 41 goals and conceding 25.

Their attacking record was particularly impressive, with the fourth-highest goal tally in the league.

Their campaign demonstrated considerable potential, and they will be among the teams looking to close the gap on the leading contenders.

THE REST OF THE FIELD: A COMPETITIVE LEAGUE

Beyond the top four, the inaugural competition featured several teams that produced memorable performances and contributed to the league’s competitive character.

Ahuu FC finished fifth with 16 points, recording five wins, one draw and five defeats.

Amigos FC occupied sixth position with 15 points. They scored 38 goals but conceded 42, finishing with a goal difference of -4.

R. Home Boyz collected 13 points to finish seventh, while Jeron FC secured eighth position with 12 points.

Expendables FC finished ninth with 11 points, followed by Old Monks United in tenth with nine points.

At the bottom end of the standings, The Butchers FC collected six points, while Abja Parks FC finished twelfth with three points.

Despite the differences in final positions, the competition provided every participating club with an opportunity to test its strength, develop its squad and build towards future campaigns.

THE NUMBERS THAT DEFINED THE SEASON

The first edition produced some impressive statistics, particularly among the leading teams.

The attacking powerhouses

Kito Legends finished as the competition’s leading scorers with 70 goals.

Jordan Select FC followed with 63, making the two leading teams responsible for a substantial share of the league’s attacking output.

Young Monks United also demonstrated considerable attacking strength, scoring 41 goals, while R. Home Boyz and Amigos FC recorded 39 and 38 respectively.

The defensive benchmark

Jordan Select FC had the strongest defence, conceding just 19 goals in 11 matches.

New Home Base followed with 20, while Young Monks United conceded 25.

Kito Legends, despite their attacking dominance, conceded 29 goals.

The unbeaten records

Two teams completed the campaign without a defeat:

  • Kito Legends: 10 wins, 1 draw.
  • Jordan Select FC: 8 wins, 3 draws.

Their consistency at the top of the table was a defining feature of the inaugural edition.

The title race

Kito Legends finished four points ahead of Jordan Select FC and six points ahead of New Home Base.

The final standings reflected the importance of consistency over the full league campaign, with every point contributing to the championship race.

ELEVEN MATCHDAYS OF FOOTBALL ACTION

The competition was structured around 11 matchdays, providing a regular programme of fixtures and an extended opportunity for teams to establish themselves.

The opening matchday immediately introduced the competitive nature of the league, with Old Monks United, New Home Base, Kito Legends, Expendables FC and Jordan Select FC among the teams involved in the opening round of fixtures.

As the competition progressed, the standings began to take shape.

Kito Legends maintained their winning momentum, Jordan Select FC remained close behind, and New Home Base steadily established themselves among the leading contenders.

The middle stages of the competition provided opportunities for teams to improve their positions, while the closing matchdays brought the championship race into sharper focus.

The final standings ultimately rewarded consistency, attacking quality and the ability to collect points week after week.

THE COMPETITION FORMAT: FOOTBALL BUILT AROUND CONSISTENCY

The Fit & Fun Premier League adopted a single round-robin format.

Under the competition regulations, every registered team was scheduled to play every other team once.

The points system was straightforward:

  • Win: 3 points.
  • Draw: 1 point.
  • Loss: 0 points.
  • Walkover: 3 points and three goals awarded to the opponent.

Unlike a knockout competition, the Premier League format placed emphasis on sustained performance throughout the campaign.

A team could not rely on one exceptional performance to win the championship. It had to demonstrate consistency across its fixtures.

This format also provided an opportunity for teams to recover from disappointing results and improve their standings as the season progressed.

THE PRIZE: MORE THAN BRAGGING RIGHTS

The inaugural competition offered substantial incentives for participating teams, with prize money, trophies and individual recognition forming part of the rewards.

The official prize structure was:

The prize structure reflected the organisers’ ambition to establish a competitive and rewarding football environment.

For the participating clubs, the opportunity to become the first-ever Fit & Fun Premier League champions carried additional significance.

Kito Legends secured that distinction.

THE RULES: A COMPETITIVE CORPORATE FOOTBALL ENVIRONMENT

The competition was designed around a compact six-a-side format, with teams permitted to field five outfield players and one goalkeeper.

Other key regulations included:

Team registration

Each team could register a maximum of 16 players on its matchday team sheet.

Match duration

Matches lasted 50 minutes, divided into two halves of 25 minutes, with additional time determined by the referee.

Substitutions

Unlimited substitutions were permitted.

Player eligibility

The league was organised as a corporate league tournament. Players licensed from Regional Leagues to the Top League were not permitted to participate.

Punctuality

Teams were advised to arrive at least 30 minutes before kick-off. Arriving 20 minutes or more after the scheduled kick-off resulted in forfeiture.

Disciplinary regulations

A red-carded player was sent off and suspended for the next match. Yellow cards resulted in cautions, with a second yellow leading to a red card.

These regulations provided a framework for maintaining discipline, competitive balance and the smooth running of the competition.

Twelve teams took part, bringing different ambitions, playing styles and competitive identities to the same playing field.

Kito Legends emerged as the inaugural champions. Jordan Select FC established themselves as formidable challengers. New Home Base and Young Monks United demonstrated their potential, while the remaining clubs contributed to the depth and character of the competition.

The inaugural campaign also created a platform for individual talent, corporate networking, fitness and community engagement.

As the competition looks towards future editions, the challenge for the other clubs is clear: close the gap on Kito Legends and compete for the championship.

For the reigning champions, the challenge is equally clear: defend the title and prove that their first-edition dominance can be sustained.

The first chapter belongs to Kito Legends. The next chapter is waiting to be written.
